The development of renewable energy sources is the future of Ukraine, which will solve the urgent problem of decentralization of electricity generation and supply, as well as strengthen the country's energy security. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the country's energy development strategy until 2050, which provides for an increase in wind generation to 140.0 GW, solar generation to 94.0 GW, energy storage - to 38.0 GW, nuclear generation to 30.0 GW, thermal power plants and bioenergy capacities to 18.0 GW, hydropower generation to 9.0 GW.
